Software Update (Version 220.127.116.11)
Migration Manager has released an update to the software (Version 18.104.22.168) and the Client Information Questionnaire.
This update provides a number of improvements and bug fixes with some of the main features being:
Simplified Accounts Layout
The Accounts development team reviewed all of the feedback people have provided about the Accounts system and made the decision to simplify the layout of the Accounts section. After the update, if you go in to the Accounts tab you will only see the most commonly used buttons such as Receipt, Invoice etc. All of the other buttons with all of the existing functionality still exist and you fill find them under the ‘More’ button. The aim of this layout refresh is to help new users focus on the key tools without having to worry about functions that they may not regularly use.
With the Department of Immigration doing away with the need for Form 80s for many ENS/RSMS applications, we have added an option to the CIQ to configure it such that it reduces the number of questions asked if a Form 80 is not required for these types of Visas. Under the CIQ button, you will now find an option for Full Questionnaire – Employer Sponsored No Form 80.
Based on feedback we have also changed the Addresses section of the CIQ so that it is easier to read and assess each person’s country and address history. We have also removed certain fields such as Unit and Suburb as a number of your advised that you did not think these were necessary. Please let us know if you have any feedback about these changes or other things you would like to see happen with the CIQ.
The eVisa development team have been hard at work updating Migration Manager’s eVisa system to handle all of the changes made by the Department in the update released last weekend. This update includes a number of fixes that have stopped eVisa working for some users. The team is still busy working their way through all of the changes made in eVisa and further updates will be released in the very near future that will hopefully get all of the fields filling out again (particularly in ENS/RSMS where the Department made significant technical changes). A big thank you to everyone who has sent through the bug reports – these are very helpful for the team.
The Department released some new fillable Forms on to Legendcom in their last update (1445, 1446, 1447, 1449 and 1451). We have now added these to Migration Manager and they can selected from the Form filler window. Please note that some of the forms which have been released do not actually have any fillable fields yet – once the Department makes these fields fillable we will make Migration Manager work with them. We have also attended to a number of recently reported form bugs. The last legendcom update resulted in many of the forms receiving technical changes which we are working our way through. Again thank you to those who have sent these bug report through. Updating the forms is a bit like painting the Sydney Harbour Bridge, but with your help we will keep the updates coming. So please keep these reports coming so that we know where you want us to focus on first. For those who have never done a Form Bug Report before, please see these Bug Reporting Instructions.
For those who use Gmail (connected to Outlook) or who like to select which folders they capture from Outlook as part of the Email Capture process, we have made some changes to the folder selection process which should make your life a bit easier. Full details can be seen in our separate blog post on this topic: New Feature: Email Capture Prompt
This update includes a number of other changes (too many to list here) so as always, full details of the this and previous updates can be found in the change log in the User Manual (click to view).
